Cuvée X-LV
The white

  • Made with Grenache blanc, Viognier, clairette et Roussane.blended in the presse in identical proportions, with a touch of Viognier
  • After the must has been yeasted, it is fermented at 17°C to a density of 1010, then poured into new barrels. The barrels are chosen according to the vintage, to create a harmony between the wine and the origins of the oak.
  • The lees are stirred every day. The wine is matured for 6 to 8 months in the barrel, then returned to the tank to complete the maturing process before bottling.
  • Two wines will be produced from
    2004 : one will emphasise aroma and finesse, while, with the other, we will work on strength, with partial fermentation in new barrels.
  • Both wines will be blended as the grapes are brought in from harvesting. This vinification method is one of font Alba's distinctive features.
